Nautical Nomad

These are the journals of a modern-day nomad from St. Paul, Minnesota. Included are land and sea travels from Africa to the Mediterranean to Indonesia. I've volunteered--released baby turtles into the ocean, conducted fish research, and written a marketing plan for a non-profit. The recent forcus has been to immerse myself in the local culture.

I've decided to take time to enjoy life--worldwide. I left my job in public radio to experience the world first hand rather than just hear about it. I've been to over 65 countries to date, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I want to live in other cultures, and have learned how to teach English as a foreign language so I can live elsewhere.
